Looking for things to do in New Hampshire with kids? Look no further! There are so many things to do in New Hampshire with kids, you’re sure to find something for everyone! Below, I’ve broken down fun things to do by whether they are an inside or outside activity. I have only listed adventures that we have experienced; if I have blogged about it, then there is also a link to my post. Things to do in New Hampshire – Outdoor AdventuresÂ
Beech Hill Farm: Visit with some farm animals and enjoy some yummy ice cream!
Elephant Head: A short, kid-friendly hike with great views!Â
Flume Gorge: A beautiful walk through a deep gorge culminating in a close-up view of a waterfall!
Hampton Beach (off-season): Enjoy smaller crowds, an open beach, and a great playground!
Loon Mountain (summer): Gorgeous vistas, gondola rides, and exploring glacial boulder caves!
Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves: Wander along a river, through boulder caves, and around waterfalls.
Mt. Pemigewasset: An easy to get to hike with beautiful westward views.
Mt. Sunapee: A great ski mountain with a wonderful beginner ski area to teach the littles how to ski!
Mt. Willard: A kid-friendly hike culminating in an amazing view! One of our favorite hikes!
New Hampshire Audubon’s McLane Center: Check out some large birds and enjoy a pleasant hike through the woods.
Pat’s Peak: A smaller ski hill that is great to hike in the summer and ski in the winter!Â
Pine Mountain: A short, kid-friendly hike with views of Lake Winnipesaukee and surrounding mountains.Â
Polar Caves: Explore 9 amazing boulder caves and visit with some animals.Â
Rollins State Park: A short hike to the summit of Mt. Kearsarge via the rocky Lincoln trail or more gentle Rollins Trail.
Rossview Farm:Â Pick your own strawberries and blueberries in large open fields!Â
Santa’s Village: Take a picture with Santa, play in a waterpark, and enjoy kid-friendly rides!
Stonewall Farm: Visit with lots of cows and take a walk through the woods.
Story Land: A fairy tale themed amusement park specifically for kids (but fun for adults, too!).
Wallis Sands State Beach:Â Enjoy the beach with easy parking and crazy seagulls!
Winslow State Park: Enjoy lunch with views, play on a playground, and hike to the top of Mt. Kearsarge.Â
Welch-Dickey Loop: Summit two mountains in one hike while enjoying expansive views and fun terrain! Â
Things to do in New Hampshire – Indoor AdventuresÂ
Capital Center for the Arts: Lots of wonderful family shows come to this theater! Check out their website to see what is playing!
McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center: Learn about our universe through hands on exhibits and experience a show in the planetarium. Check it out here.
Merrimack Ten Pin: Family-friendly (big ball) bowling and a small arcade to pass the time on those rainy days!
Seacoast Science Center: Learn about the sea creatures living in the Gulf of Maine and touch a starfish!
SEE Science Center: Play and learning combine to make an excellent indoor adventure!

Great ideas! Earlier in the year, we were planning a New Enlgand road trip for this summer before we had to change plans and head in the opposite direction. I still hope to visit New Hampshire in the next couple of years!
