Must Have Beach Gear for Kids!

Collapsable Beach Pails

You know how the kids always want sand toys, but they take up sooooo much room? Problem solved!! These silicone buckets collapse down flat.  It’s amazing.  We have put them in our checked luggage as well as in our “local” beach bag and they definitely travel well.  They are super sturdy and hold their shape really well when popped open.  The kiddos and I both love them!

LL Bean Kids Swimsuits

These suits are wonderful.  They are a really thick material that oozes quality.  L has had at least one every year since she was one; if she didn’t grow so quickly, we definitely wouldn’t need a new one every year.  In fact, we’ve passed them on to our friends and they are still going strong! Little Man has also been wearing these suits and I feel the same way about the quality.  He has super cute shorts and rash guards that protect him in some pretty strong sun.

Scout Tote Bag

Until I got this bag, it seemed like I could never fit everything I needed into one bag.  This tote is large enough to fit multiple towels, collapsible buckets (wink wink), water bottles, diapers, wipes, snacks, and whatever else the kids decide they need.  Not to mention, it’s super cute, comes in many patterns, is durable and strong, and is beyond easy to wipe down.  It also folds down flat so it even fits in suitcases!!

Mesh Baby Wrap

Ever try and wrangle a 4 year old and an infant at the beach? It’s pretty much impossible.  It’s hot.  It’s sandy.  The 4 year old always needs your attention right this instant and hearing “I have to stay with your brother” just doesn’t fly.  That’s where this wrap comes in; it’s made of mesh, so it’s cool, doesn’t hold onto sand, and you can go in the water with it.  It honestly was a life saver for us!!

Beach Blanket

This is one of my favorite keep in my car items – it works as a beach blanket and a picnic blanket. It’s compact, easy to carry, and easily cleans. The best part is that it has a strap so it doesn’t take up precious room in my Scout Tote Bag :). You can throw it over your shoulder and off you go!
